CNC, milling machine production and processing of medical plastic mold
Processing flow
1. Design
- Three-dimensional design: The use of CAD software for three-dimensional design of the mold, according to the structure and functional requirements of the product to develop the structure and size of the mold.
- Flow path analysis: By simulating the plastic filling process, the flow is analyzed to ensure that the plastic is evenly filled in every part of the mold.
2. Material selection
According to the use of the mold, the expected service life, the type of plastic and other factors, choose the appropriate mold steel.
3. Roughing
- Cutting and sawing: cutting large pieces of steel to the appropriate size.
- Turning: Machining steel to rough dimensions by lathe.
4. The finishing
- EDM: The principle of EDM erosion is used to process the fine parts of the mold.
- CNC milling: Using CNC milling machines for high-precision cutting.
5. Grinding
Use a grinder to grind the die surface to the desired precision and finish.
6. Mold assembly
Assemble each mold component, such as mold core, slider, positioning pin, etc., to ensure that they work together.
7. Test the mold
- Test the mold in the actual production environment to check whether the mold can work normally.
- Make necessary adjustments and optimizations for problems that arise.
8. Heat treatment
The die is hardened to enhance its durability and wear resistance.
9. Mold adjustment and trimming
According to the test results, the mold is adjusted and trimmed to ensure that it meets the production needs.
10. Surface treatment
Such as coating, painting, etc., to improve the corrosion resistance and surface texture of the mold.
